The Mfantseman Municipal Assembly, in its bid to improve second cycle education in the area has constructed an ultra modern 18 unit dormitory block for the Mfantseman Senior High School SHS.

The 2-storey dormitory block comes with spacious rooms to accommodate students, two water reservoirs, cubicles and box rooms as well. 

The facility was necessitated by the introduction of the four year educational policy initiated by the erstwhile administration which saw the admission of additional number of students to occupy the schools limited facilities.

This therefore prompted the assembly to improve the infrastructural deficit that has hit the school due the policy, hence the construction of the dormitory.

Meanwhile, the school has benefited from a modern dining hall facility with funding from the assewmbly’s own share of the District Development Fund (DDF).

Information gathered by Ghanadistricts.com however indicates that both projects are duly completed and handed over for use.
