Work is steadily progressing on a new 4-unit teachers quarters block in K9, a community in the Mpohor Wassa East District to improve teachers’ accommodation conditions in the area. 

This was disclosed in a session address by the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Anthony Bassaw at the assembly’s 5th ordinary meeting of the assembly at Daboase.

He took the opportunity to outline some of the on-going projects being executed in the area by the assembly including a 6-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at Abetemensu, as part of its numerous projects aimed at making education accessible to all.

Mr. Bassaw  charged members to take active part in the bio-metric registration exercise and collaborate with officials of the electoral commission in order to ensure peace and sanity at all the registration centers.
