The Jaman South District Assembly has openly demonstrated its commitment to ensure that all communities in the area are connected with electricity as it takes delivery of eight new transformers for power supply in some eight communities in the district.

The Jaman South District Assembly has openly demonstrated its commitment to ensure that all communities in the area are connected with electricity as it takes delivery of eight new transformers for power supply in some eight communities in the district.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com the Chief Executive Julius Atta Bediako noted that the assembly is determined to expand electricity to every quarter of the district as part of the nationwide edge to enhance electricity coverage by government as noted by the President in his encounter with the press.

According to him efforts are being made to ensure that the entire district is connected to the national grid in the shortest possible time. Some of the communities that will  benefit from the newly purchased transformers include Kwadwo Badu krom, Asuogya, Nyamefie and Jejemireja. The rest are Abourkrom, Mmremano and Kofikrom.
