As part of efforts to encourage entrepreneural spirit in the Tano South district, the Assembly has taken an intiative to help Madam. Agnes Adu-Yeboah to promote her beadmaking industry in the district and beyond.

Speaking to ghanadistricts.com at an exhibition fair held recently in the district, Ms Adu-Yeboah said  she begun the bead making business in 1998 when she opened the Adom Beads Workshop in the Tano South District in  the Upper East Region.

According to her, she has been able  to identify and capture the potential local market,  however, due to certain constraints she has been unable to market her products globally.

She noted that the Assembly has promised to help her acquire funds to enable her export her goods.

Ms. Adu-Yeaboah noted that she had managed to train a number of youth in the area to be self employed.

She expressed gratitude to the district assembly for initiating the move to help her.
