SEKYERE EAST: DCE committs to basic education
The District Chief Executive for Sekyere East, Mr. Kwadwo Adae,
has resolved to reverse the poor performance of Basic Education
Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the area by
setting up a committee to look into the cause of the problem,
since "the BECE results over the past years have not been
encouraging".

The District Chief Executive for Sekyere East, Mr. Kwadwo Adae,
has resolved to reverse the poor performance of Basic Education
Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the area by
setting up a committee to look into the cause of the problem,
since "the BECE results over the past years have not been
encouraging".
The DCE who was speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com said he would bring all stakeholders on board to find answers to the perenial problems that has been haunting the distric.
With regard to water, he said there were plans to provide
mechanised water system at Senchi, Okai krom and Ntumkumso.
The DCE, therefore stressed the need for the people to rally
behand him by giving him the necessary support.
He commended the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) for
the projects it had undertaken in the area.
He said MiDA rehabilitated the Ahwerewa District Assembly
Primary School, provided mechanised water system for the
people of Naama and handed over two handpump wells to the
people of Oguaa.
