(ASANTE ASOKORE) SEKYERE EAST : Omanhene supports two schools

Nana Dr. Susubribi Krobea-Asante, Omanhene of Asante-Asokore Traditional Area , has donated 5,000  dollars and GH¢3,000 in support of two schools in the area

Nana Dr. Susubribi Krobea-Asante, Omanhene of Asante-Asokore Traditional Area , has donated 5,000  dollars and GH¢3,000 in support of two schools in the area
         

These are the Ahmadiyya Senior High School and the Methodist Junior High School, both at Asokore.
          

The money is meant to assist to put into good shape structures in the two beneficiary institutions.
      

Nana Dr. Krobea-Asante, who has made education the central theme of development agenda for the traditional area, said the only way to make progress was to focus on the development of the human resource.
 

He recognized the tremendous contribution the Methodist High School had made towards education promotion, mentioning among its products as the late Prof Albert Adu Boahen, a renowned historian and politician, the late Prof K. E. Adjei of the School of

Administration of the University of Ghana and himself.
 

Madam Cecilia Oteng Dapaah, Headmistress of the Methodist Junior High School, thanked the chief for the donation and appealed to organizations and individuals to be part of efforts at improving schools’ infrastructure in the area.
