(BIMBILLA) NANUMBA NORTH: Foundation, credit union parternership hailed

The District Chief Executive of Nanumba North, Mr. Salifu Sa-eed, has assured non-governmental organizations of the assembly’s support and collaboration to achieve developmental objectives in the area.

Mr. Sa-eed said this at the weekend at the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Social Enterprise Development (SEND) foundation and the Bimbilla Community Co-operative Credit Union (BCCCU) in Bimbilla.

He commended the Credit Union Association of Ghana for partnering with the SEND foundation to establish and promote community-based credit unions to provide suitable and convenient financial services to the people.

He said the signing of the MOU would mark the implementation of a new credit union and micro finance initiative in the district.

Mr. Sa-eed urged the stakeholders of the credit union to collaborate effectively and drive a collective effort to ensure sustenance of the union.
