NANUMBA NORTH:Make reading a habit
The District Chief Executive of Nanumba North, Salifu Sa-eed has underscored the need for students to cultivate the habit of reading since it provides them with the opportunity to learn more and be abreast of time.

The District Chief Executive of Nanumba North, Salifu Sa-eed has underscored the need for students to cultivate the habit of reading since it provides them with the opportunity to learn more and be abreast of time.
Reading he said provides information for physical, mental as well as spiritual development of individuals.
He expressed regret at the way most people stop reading after school. "You need to read to acquire knowledge and information about current issues and diseasessuch as HIV/AIDS so that you remain healthy students to build the nation", he added.
The DCE also advised students to eschew all tendencies of indiscipline, drug abuse and to take their studies seriously since the future depends on the good foundation they lay for themselves.
Mr Salifu made this call during a quiz competition for Junior High Schools in the district.
