Western North Regional Minister Inspects Major Development Projects in Bia West
The Western North Regional Minister, Hon. Wilbert Petty Brentum, has inspected a number of ongoing and completed development projects across the Bia West District as part of efforts to monitor progress and ensure that investments deliver meaningful benefits to residents.

The inspection covered projects funded through the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), legacy projects and community self-help initiatives.
Among the major projects inspected were the construction of a 24-Hour Economy Market, several CHPS Compounds and staff accommodation facilities, and the drilling of 17 boreholes to improve access to potable water across communities.
The Regional Minister also inspected several education projects, including the rehabilitation of a 6-unit classroom block, construction of a new 6-unit classroom block with washrooms, completion of a Kindergarten block, and the construction of a 2-unit KG block with offices, stores and washroom facilities.

Other educational projects inspected included the construction and completion of several 3-unit Junior High School blocks, aimed at improving teaching and learning conditions for pupils across the district.
The inspection also covered the rehabilitation of the Adjuafua project, as part of the broader effort to ensure that development interventions across the district are progressing as expected.
Hon. Wilbert Petty Brentum commended the Member of Parliament for Bia West, Hon. Mustapha Amari Tanko, and the District Chief Executive, Hon. Mathew Annor, for their commitment towards ensuring that development projects continue to advance across the district.

The Bia West DCE, Hon. Mathew Annor, expressed appreciation to the Regional Minister for his continued support and guidance, noting that his commitment and leadership had contributed significantly to the progress of development initiatives in the district.
The Regional Minister's visit forms part of his ongoing monitoring of projects across the Western North Region to ensure value for money, quality execution, timely completion and improved service delivery.
The projects, spanning healthcare, education, water supply, markets and community infrastructure, are expected to improve the quality of life of residents and contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of the Bia West District.
