The tour, conducted in collaboration with the District Department of Agriculture, formed part of efforts to monitor agricultural production and strengthen support for farmers in the district.
During the visit, the DCE interacted with farmers to gain first-hand information on their experiences, challenges, and the support needed to improve productivity. The engagements provided an opportunity for farmers to share concerns affecting their operations while discussing ways to enhance agricultural development in the district.
As part of the exercise, Ms. Kpedor and the team also visited selected beneficiaries of the Government's Nkokonkitinkiti Programme to assess the implementation and impact of the initiative.
The inspection enabled the District Assembly to evaluate the progress of the programme and determine how it is contributing to increased agricultural production and improved livelihoods among beneficiary farmers.
The District Chief Executive reaffirmed the Assembly's commitment to working closely with the Department of Agriculture and other stakeholders to promote sustainable agriculture and ensure that government interventions continue to benefit farmers across the Anloga District.
