The District Coordinating Director, Mr. David Dokli, who led the team on behalf of the District Chief Executive, encouraged the pupils to attend school regularly, take their studies seriously and work hard towards becoming responsible and successful people in the future.

He assured them that the Assembly would continue to provide the necessary learning materials and support to enhance teaching and learning in the district.

Mr. Dokli also commended teachers and education officers for their commitment and dedication to imparting knowledge and essential skills to children, despite the challenges they encounter in the discharge of their duties. He encouraged them to remain dedicated to shaping the future of the pupils.

As part of the visit, the newly enrolled pupils received educational materials, including exercise books, pencils, erasers and sharpeners, as well as fruit drinks to encourage and make their first school experience memorable.

The team was accompanied by the District Director in charge of Monitoring and Supervision at the Education Directorate, Mr. Charles Clifford Baah, other officers of the Education Directorate and officials of the Akrofuom District Assembly.

The initiative forms part of the Assembly's commitment to supporting basic education, promoting school enrolment and creating a conducive learning environment for children in the district.
