Among the projects that have been revived are the Adaklu Kpetsu Health Centre and a three-classroom block at Adaklu Ablornu Junior High School (JHS).

The renewed construction works form part of efforts by the Assembly, under the leadership of the District Chief Executive (DCE), Jerry Yao Ameko, to ensure that abandoned projects are completed and made available for public use.

The Adaklu Kpetsu Health Centre is expected to improve access to healthcare services for residents of Kpetsu and surrounding communities when completed. The facility will help bring basic healthcare services closer to residents and reduce the need to travel long distances to access medical care.

At Adaklu Ablornu, the three-classroom block is expected to provide additional space and a more conducive environment for teaching and learning. The project will also help address infrastructure challenges facing the school.

DCE Jerry Yao Ameko has emphasised the need for the Assembly to prioritise the completion of stalled projects to ensure value for money and maximise the benefits of public investments.

He indicated that the Assembly would continue to monitor the projects and work with contractors and relevant stakeholders to ensure that construction progresses steadily and meets the required standards.

Residents have welcomed the resumption of the projects, expressing optimism that their completion would improve access to essential social services and contribute to the development of their communities.

The Assembly's renewed focus on the abandoned health and education projects is expected to strengthen social infrastructure and improve the quality of services available to residents across the Adaklu District.
