Following intensive publicity, the clean-up witnessed massive turnout at various places.

Institutions, groups, youth groups, security services, Assembly members and individuals all joined hands to clean various areas in the municipality.

Gutters were desilted, overgrown weeks were cleared, swept and collected to dumping sites giving the municipality a new clean and healthy look.

The exercise would become a regular feature to not only keep the municipality clean but more importantly keep the citizens away from diseases usually caused by an unkempt environment.
