Adaklu takes delivery of new Slaughter House

Mr. Kadey, in his address advised the people to make good use of the facility and also do away from indiscriminate slaughtering without proper supervision of veterinary and environmental health officers, adding that the Assembly is committed to improve the livelihood of the people.
On his part, the Volta minister commended the Assembly for the effort made to make the District preferred meat market for consumption in and outside the District.
Deputy Environmental Health Officer of the District, Mr. Francis Dzata also said that the facility would help improve sanitation and prevent infectious disease caused by bacteria, viruses and parasites that spread between animals and humans.
