In response to the community's expressed needs, the DCE pledged to support the renovation project as a mark of respect for traditional leadership and to help preserve the area’s cultural heritage.

To fulfill this commitment, the DCE, accompanied by a team from the District Assembly, returned to Okumaning to inspect the progress of the renovation works. This visit aimed to ensure that the Assembly’s support is effectively utilized for the benefit of the community.

During the inspection, the DCE praised the local artisans and volunteers for their dedication and community spirit. He reiterated the Assembly's commitment to supporting traditional authorities and promoting cultural values within the district.

As a tangible gesture of support, the DCE donated 50 bags of cement towards the renovation of the palace. This generous donation was warmly received by community elders and opinion leaders, who expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the DCE and the District Assembly for their timely intervention.

This visit is part of the DCE’s broader community engagement strategy, which aims to strengthen relationships between the Assembly and local communities while addressing critical developmental needs across the district.

The Assembly remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that enhance cultural preservation, community development, and effective local governance.
