DORMAA C: Assembly rolls out initiative to honour best workers
The Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly in the Brong Ahafo has rolled out a new initiative to award and honour deserving workers in the area at end of every year.

The Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly in the Brong Ahafo has rolled out a new initiative to award and honour deserving workers in the area at end of every year.
The exercise is expected to enable the Assembly identify deserving teachers and students to be placed on the Assembly’s scholarship scheme.
Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Gordon Asubonteng who made this known when speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com and added that the programme will also intend boost the morale of workers to exhaust much effort towards the development of the municipality.
According to him, the initiative will focus much attention on teachers who worked tirelessly in helping the municipality achieve hundred percent in BECE result for five successive years, adding that the initiative complement government’s existing support for teachers and raise their morale.
He said his outfit has also revamped its efforts to support needy but brilliant students in the area, adding that the assembly has created an endowment fund to support such students to further their education to a preferred level.
Mr. Asubonteng showered praise on the Dormaa Central Education directorate for working tirelessly in the supervision of quality teaching and learning in the area.
He also advised students to grab the opportunity offered to them and pledge his outfits support to education.
