The Municipal Chief Executive for Yendi in the northern region says he cannot be blamed for the scuffle that ensued between prison and military officers there after a football match.
 
The scuffle broke out after the referee awarded a penalty against the Military team after a player for Prisons Service was fouled.
 
Some assemblymen have blamed the MCE for unliterary organizing the match.
 
They say the contribution of other assembly men could have averted the scuffle.
 
But the MCE Issah Zakariah has denied the accusation. He told XYZ News, in football such scuffles are likely to happen.
