The Kpandai District Assembly in the Northern Region over the past four years had undertaken a number of development projects and these include include accommodation blocks to house the assembly staff and three-unit classroom blocks each at Katiejili, Kpandai, Balai and Kumdi.

Mr Jasper JatohMoayi, the District Chief Executive, told the GNA in an interview that the facilities were being built with funds from the assembly’s share of the Common Fund and through some development partners. 

He said roads at Kpandai had been completed by the Department of Feeder Roads and 12 classroom blocks for the Kpandai Senior High School under the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) had been awarded on contract.

MrMoayi said work on the Nkanchina Dam under the Northern Region Poverty Reduction Programme was on course but expressed concern about the poor revenue mobilization in the district that had been a major problem.
