KEEA: Indian investors visit defunct Komenda factory
Two Indian investors, Mr Manoj Tripathi and Mr Umesh Pareek have paid a visit to the defunct Komenda Sugar Factory to conduct feasibility studies in their bid to revamp the factory.

Two Indian investors, Mr Manoj Tripathi and Mr Umesh Pareek have paid a visit to the defunct Komenda Sugar Factory to conduct feasibility studies in their bid to revamp the factory.
In an interview with the GNA at the site, Mr Tripathi said they will carry out studies to ascertain the irrigation system suitable for the sugar plantation in the area in order to have the factory revived and sustained.
Ms. Eunice Morrison, Special Assistant to Dr. Joseph Annan, the out-going Member of Parliament for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo- Abrem (KEEA) who took the two investors around the defunct factory and farms, said the rehabilitation works will soon start for the factory to be operational by 2015.
The Indian Government had voted an amount of 35 million US dollars towards the project.
