Some Ultra-modern school structures meant to improve teaching and learning activities in the Jasikan district have been accomplished in several basic schools in certain communities of the district.

The beneficiary schools included Jasikan Demonstration school,New- Ayoma R/C primary, Akaa-Cankey and Koisin D/A primary schools respectively.

However, plans are afoot to commission the completed facilities in the district in a months time, the DCE for the area, Nana Barima Kumessy Bonsy has revealed.

Highlighting on these completed projects in the area, Nana Kumessy Bonsy stressed that the fully completed classroom structures will give the opportunity for the beneficiary schools to increase its enrollment in the next academic year.

He said the structures are all 6 unit classroom blocks with ancillary facilities like stores, office and staff common room.

The project was powered by the Assembly through the District Development Fund(DDF), and forms part of strategies to improve quality education delivery in the district.
