Since the NDC government took over the administration of the country with their Better Ghana agenda in 2009, the Suhum Kraboa Coaltar District (now Suhum Municipality) have executed about a hundred and forteen (114) development projects.

The projects spread across all sectors of the municipalaity including education, transportation, security, health, water and sanitation among others.

For instance, various road networks in the municipality have received a major boast, ranging from reshaping, construction, rehabilitation, and tarring making life enjoyable in the area.

One major project, apart from the numerous projects the Assembly has undertaken, is the construction of a multi-purpose assembly hall with a total capacity of 300 at the cost of GH¢670,000.
