NZEMA E:Electricity extension work begins
The Nzema East Municipal Assembly is working assidiously to connect deprive communities to the national grid as part of efforts to improve socio-economic activities in the area.

The Nzema East Municipal Assembly is working assidiously to connect deprived communities to the national grid as part of efforts to improve socio-economic activities in the area.
However, though most communities have already been connected to the national grid, there are still a few others yet to receive a share of the national cake.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Assemblyman for Aynasikrom Electoral Area, Mr. Daniel Kwasi Duku, disclosed that Awukyire, a community within his electoral area is also beneficiary of the ongoing project.
According to him works are seriously ongoing on the project with low tension pole already been mounted to ensure smooth electrcity exetention to the area.
He however called on the assembly to as a matter of urgency construct a new Junior High School (JHS) for the the community to halt the situation where students had to walk long distances to other nearby communities to further their studies after successfully completing their Primary six education.
The assemblyman also called for the construction of new KVIP toilets for Nadiemu and Ankyirena communities.
