The Gomoa West district assembly is sponsoring 10 youth from the area at  the Regional Maritime Academy to be trained in fire fighting and survival.

Presenting the sponsorship cheque for GH 30,000 to the beneficiairies at Apam, Mr. Theophilus Aidoo Mensah , the district chief executive urged the beneficiairies to take the training serious.

Mr Delali Kodwo Buame, who received the cheque on behalf of the beneficiaries , thanked the assembly for offering them the opportunity and gave the assurance that they would work hard to justify the confidence reposed in them.
