Ablade Narh, a 35-year-old driver had been sentenced to seven years imprisonment by the Tema Circuit Court ’B’ for defiling a 15-year-old girl.
   

He pleaded not guilty.

Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Adolphus Otchere told the court that the convict met the victim over a year ago at the beach and lured her into an uncompleted building where he had sexual intercourse with her.

Chief Inspector Otchere said few days later, he lured the victim again to his residence and kept her for some days and sexually abused her.

The victim had then become a sex tool for Narh and as a result she stopped going to school.

The prosecutor said the mother of the victim detected a strange behaviour in the victim, monitored and traced her to the Narh’s house where the victim confessed that the convict had been having sex with her over the past year.

A report was made to the police and Narh was arrested. He admitted the offence but said he had sex with the girl on only four occasions.
