The District Chief Executive who disclosed this to Ghanadistricts.com said, aside the CHIP compounds, clinics and other health institutions in the district would be renovated and equipped to meet the health delivery demands of the people.

At present, the district has 11 CHIP compounds, while two at Ypele and Babile are under construction, and two others are yet to be commissioned.
In addition to the infrastructure drive, the DCE also announced moves by the assembly to collaborate with the District Health Administration to provide data base on health personnel in the district and recommend those that are in die need in the assembly for the necessary action to be taken.
“We are also in talks with the Ministry of health to assist us with logistics for the various health institutions”, he added.
He hinted that a programme to sponsor natives to health institutions would soon be rolled out with the hope that they can come back to serve in the district after graduation.
