NKWANTA SOUTH: Tutor supported

Nineteen members of the Nkwanta South District has voted unanimously to endorse Mr Joseph Bikab, a tutor of the Nkwanta Senior High School, as the District Chief Executive.

Nineteen members of the Nkwanta South District has voted unanimously to endorse Mr Joseph Bikab, a tutor of the Nkwanta Senior High School, as the District Chief Executive.

The assembly also voted 100 percent for Mr Jacob Jejeti, a businessman, as its Presiding Member.

Members of the Krachi West Assembly, by 36 votes to one, confirmed Nana Antwi Barimah as District Chief Executive for the area.

The assembly elected Mr Patrick Bullator as the Presiding Member.

Nana Barimah and Mr Bullator pledged to dedicate their administration towards the amicable resolution of the impasse between Krachis and the Muslim community, which sometimes degenerates into disturbances.

They promised to evolve strategies to improve on the revenue situation of the assembly.

Mr Francis Yaw Sarfo, Member of Parliament for Krachi West pledged his co-operation to efforts at bringing development, peace and unity to the area.
