ZABZUGU/TATALE : Tribal clashes in U/W

News reaching www.ghanadistricts.com indicates that tribal clashes have sparked between the Konkomba and Baasare tribes in the Zabzugu/Tatale District in the Upper West Region.

The clashes have left in its wake one dead and four others seriously injured in the area.

According to a source, the clashes erupted from an existing land dispute between the two tribes.

The source said a group of Baasare people were using the land for farming purposes when the Konkomba’s started firing arms and used cutlasses to disperse the group.

Security personnel have been detailed to the area to ensure that peace prevails in the area.
