Premium so far collected stood at 16,091.80 Ghana cedis.
As a result of the poor response to the scheme, series of sensitization programmes were undertaken through DANIDA sponsorship of 1560 Ghana cedis. Part of the amount was also used to trai personnel of the scheme for effective performance.
The District Assembly also provided 2,800 Ghanacedis for extention of electricity to the office and also donated one computer and a printer.
There is however the need for assistance to help register more people since funds maybe the main hindrance for the people to join the scheme.
