PMC Africa CEO donates to schools in Wenchi
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Progressive Modern Group of Company (PMC) Africa Alhaji Abdallah Ahmed Abdallah also known as Alhaji PMC has donated educational some materials to SDA A & B Cluster of Schools and MTS Western Link School in Wenchi in the Bono Region.

The materials include See-saw, Mary-go-round and other playing kits that would enhance sports to complement and complete academics.

The gesture formed part of the many social interventions and generosity of the CEO who has earlier sponsored over 500 students on scholarships and paid 3 years fees in advance. He also registered over thousand (1, 000) children and aged on the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). He again distributed school uniforms, books and other learning materials to schools.


Presenting the items on behalf of the benefactor Alhaji PMC, the Presiding Member (PM) of the Wenchi Municipal Assembly stated that the donation was in fulfilment of the CEO's promise to support quality education in the area.

He noted that the items would motivate and cajole the pupils to develop interest in regular attendance and increase enrollment in the basic schools in support of government's social interventions. According to him, Alhaji would continue to extend support geared towards the improvement of the socio-economic developments of the people.


The Proprietor of Mathematics Technology and Science (MTS) School popularly called Western Link Mr Edward Nana Adusei commended Alhaji PMC for the gesture. He appealed for construction of access roads to the school.

He further noted that the blend of academics and sports makes the student complete and excellent. The school has football, volleyball, hand ball pitch facilities. At the time of the visit, Science and ICT labs were under construction.


The headmaster of the SDA Cluster appealed for construction of fence wall to stop cattle from defecating on the school compounds.
The pupils were elated for the items.
