North East Gonja DCE Breaks Ground for New Classroom and Sanitation Facilities at Dashie JHS

The project comprises a three-unit classroom block, a four-seater KVIP toilet facility, and a urinal aimed at improving both the learning environment and sanitation conditions at the school.
The sod-cutting ceremony, which officially marked the commencement of the project, brought together traditional authorities, community members, education stakeholders, and officials of the district assembly. Addressing the gathering, the DCE reiterated the Assembly's commitment to investing in educational infrastructure to ensure that pupils and teachers have access to safe and conducive learning spaces. He noted that the provision of additional classrooms and improved sanitation facilities would help enhance teaching and learning outcomes at Dashie JHS.
Hon. Ewuntomah explained that the initiative forms part of the government's broader agenda to bridge infrastructure gaps in schools and promote access to quality education across the district.
Community leaders and residents commended the District Assembly for responding to the educational needs of the area. They expressed confidence that the project would ease pressure on existing classroom facilities, improve hygiene standards, and contribute to the overall well-being and academic performance of students.
