The event brought together 66 pupils, mainly Junior High School girls, and was aimed at raising awareness on menstrual hygiene, equipping participants with essential knowledge, and empowering them to manage their menstrual health with confidence and dignity.

The department used the occasion to reaffirm its commitment to menstrual health education in both school and community settings, ensuring that no girl’s education or self-worth is diminished due to lack of support or access to menstrual hygiene resources.

The success of the celebration was made possible through the generous sponsorship of OFI, Yazz, and other benevolent individuals, whose contributions were instrumental in creating a meaningful and impactful experience for the students.
