Aowin MCE holds thanksgiving to thank God for nomination, confirmation
The Lighthouse Chapel International Enchi branch has held a thanksgiving service in honour of the Aowin Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Stephen Morcher to thank God for his guidance and protection during nomination, confirmation, and swearing into office as the new MCE.

The thanksgiving service was interspersed with songs of thanksgiving to which the congregation mostly clad in white dress and dance to the glory of God.
Bishop Robert Amoako preaching at the sermon on the theme; For all authority comes from God, adding that all those in positions of authority such as Assemblyman, Pastor, MCE, Chief, MP, Minister as well the President were been placed there by God.
He buttressed his point with the book of Roman chapter 13:1-7 and urged those blessed by with such higher positions by God to strive to be humble and work according to the dictates of his words.
Bishop Amoako used the opportunity to call for peace and unity among the political actors and Aowin traditional council for co-existence in order to enhance the MCE to attain his vision for the Municipality.
He prayed for God's protection, guidance, strength, and wisdom for the MCE and his family.
The MCE Mr. Stephen Morcher expressed his profound gratitude to all particularly the church, traditional authorities and members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their unwavering support and promised to work hard for the development of the Municipality.
He highlighted poor road network, youth unemployment, lack of educational infrastructures as some of major challenges facing Aowin Municipality, and promised to tackle them in known time.
