The commissioning ceremony, held on 8 September 2026 at Modaso, marked another step in the Assembly's commitment to expanding access to quality basic education, particularly at the early childhood level. The new facility is expected to provide pupils and teachers with a more conducive environment for teaching and learning while addressing infrastructure needs at the school.

Speaking at the ceremony, representatives of the District Assembly emphasised the importance of investing in early childhood education, noting that a strong educational foundation is essential for the academic development and future success of children.

The Assembly also highlighted the need for communities to support educational development initiatives by taking an active interest in the maintenance and protection of school facilities.
