This initiative was organized by the Ghana Prisons Service – Ashanti Region, under the leadership of Regional Commander DDP (Ing.) James B. Mwinyihelle, and was carried out in collaboration with the Regional and Municipal NADMO offices.

During the event, Mr. Alhassan pledged his support for the THINK PRISONS 360 DEGREES initiative, which is championed by the Director General of the Ghana Prisons Service.

This visionary program aims to:

Shed light on the realities of prison life

Promote humane treatment of inmates

Advance the reformative mandate of the Prisons Service

In addition to his participation, the MCE made a cash donation to support the operations of the Kumasi Children's Home.

He also promised to bring additional essential items to further assist the children and enhance their living conditions.

Mr. Alhassan called on corporate organizations and philanthropic institutions to emulate the commendable example set by the Ghana Prisons Service, stating, "Let us all extend our compassion to the vulnerable children in our various Children’s Homes across the country, especially those at the Kumasi Children's Home."

This initiative highlights the importance of community support and the collective responsibility to uplift the lives of vulnerable children.
