By the end of this month, the two-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities including office, kitchen and toilet would be ready for commissioning and handing over to the school, the District Chief Executive, Kwame Asare Danso has said.
Currently, painting works as well as fittings of other sanitary hardware are ongoing in earnest.

Mr. Asare Danso said human resource development remains pivotal in poverty alleviation; and it is important they as leaders set the foundation right so that the children can build on it successfully as they aspire for greater heights.

Throwing more light on the project, the District Engineer Emmanuel B. Otchere noted that the Assembly had to collapse the old dilapidated kindergarten structure and construct a new one with more facilities with enough space to accommodate the growing population.

He said when completed, the school would be fully furnished with hexagonal tables with chairs with other teaching and learning materials suitable to ensure smooth teaching and learning environment.

Meanwhile, close to that facility is the information communication technology (ICT) laboratory constructed by the Member of Parliament for the area, Kennedy Osei Nyarko.

The facility with a number of computers has become a major centre of impacting knowledge in the area of information technology to prepare the students to be in tune with modern ways of doing things and accessing information globally.
