The meeting focused on strategies to attract investment into Kumasi, with the aim of creating employment opportunities, supporting existing businesses, and partnering with aspiring entrepreneurs to establish new ventures in the city.

In his brief remarks, the Mayor noted that the Ambassador’s visit to Kumasi was at the invitation of His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, as part of the Art Awards and Cocktail Reception being organized by the Manhyia Palace Museum in collaboration with UNESCO.

Hon. Ofori-Agyeman Boadi used the occasion to promote Kumasi as an ideal investment destination. He proposed collaboration in establishing tiling factories and developing a conference centre—initiatives that would significantly boost the local creative arts industry.

He also highlighted the upcoming Kumasi Connect event, describing it as a platform designed to align businesses with support systems and promote sustainable economic growth in the city.
