Abossey Okai Shines After Massive Community Clean-Up

In a powerful display of community spirit and civic responsibility, the Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly, in partnership with the Ghana Prisons Service and the Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association, orchestrated a large-scale clean-up exercise at Abossey Okai earlier today.

The initiative, which kicked off bright and early at 6:00 AM, drew an exceptional crowd.

Residents, dedicated traders, enthusiastic assembly staff, and representatives from partner organizations converged, working shoulder-to-shoulder. Their collective efforts were focused on a comprehensive clean-up, involving vigorous sweeping of the streets and markets, meticulous desilting of drainage systems, and the removal of accumulated refuse.

Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Frank Nkansah, lauded the overwhelming community participation. He expressed profound gratitude to every individual who contributed their time and energy towards maintaining the municipality's cleanliness.

"Sanitation is a shared responsibility, and the commitment shown today is truly inspiring," stated Hon. Nkansah.
