Construction of 1D1F to kick start in June at Ningo Prampram

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ningo Prampram, Mr. Jonathan Doku and the Management of Lee Foodstuffs Processing Company, a Chinese food processing company have finalized documentations concerning the construction of a food processing factory in connection with the government’s flagship programme one district, one factory (1D1F) policy in June.

The management of Lee Foodstuff Processing Company stated their readiness and commitment for the project, and stressed on support from the government to sustain the policy.

Mr. Doku, also pledged the Assembly's support and urged the investors to patronize the raw materials from local farmers in the district and consider the district members in the recruitment of their staff.

He added that farmers and youth in the District should take advantage of the programme to reduce unemployment in the area.
