Mr. Emmanuel Kojo Nanah was among 212 other individuals appointed by the president Nana Akufo Addo to occupy Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assembly positions across the country.

He would however, have to secure two-third majority approval from the assembly members from his district to be confirmed as the man for the job.

Unlike other areas where nomination of certain individuals generated some level of tension, the situation in the Twifo Heman Lower Denkyira District has been calm an indication that he might just go through successfully. But that will be decided by the assembly members during voting.
