Nkwanta North DCE Hands Over Modern Classroom Block to Boost Education in Ubunja

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Nkwanta North, Hon. Dordoe Kudjoe Isaiah, has officially commissioned a newly constructed three-unit classroom block at Ubunja to enhance teaching and learning in the community.

Funded through the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), the project forms part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure and expand access to quality education across the district. The new block is expected to provide pupils and teachers with a more conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.

Stakeholders at the event commended Detag Ltd, led by Mr. Silas, for the timely execution and quality delivery of the project.

The District Director of Education, Mr. Bansa, together with officials from the Education Directorate, praised the government and the Assembly for prioritising education, describing the facility as a much-needed intervention that would positively impact academic activities in the area.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Dordoe Kudjoe Isaiah called on residents of Ubunja to take ownership of the facility by ensuring its proper maintenance and protection. He stressed that safeguarding the infrastructure would guarantee its long-term benefit to future generations of learners.

Teachers, pupils and community members expressed their appreciation to the government and the District Assembly for the project, noting that the new classroom block would help address infrastructure challenges and improve educational outcomes in the community.
