The move comes after numerous complaints from residents of Teshie about poor service delivery, particularly from door-to-door collectors like Zoom-lion and “Daben” waste management services.

Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area, Israel Adjetey revealed in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com stated that despite efforts by the Assembly to address waste management issues, many residents continue to face challenges.

As a result, the Assembly, he added, is reviewing all existing waste management contracts and plans to replace these companies with more efficient ones.
