Afcon Semis: Black Stars to face Cameroon today

Winner for this evening encounter will face Egypt who defeated a physical Burkina Faso side with penalties.
Ghana reached semis of this year’s tournament after brothers, Andrew Dede Ayew and Jordan Ayew bagged in second half goals in their quarter finals game against the “The Leopards” of DR Congo to book their place.
Cameroon is expected to provide a stiff opposition to Ghana after their impressive performance which aid them knockout Sardio Mane’s Senegal from the tournament in the quarter finals stage.
Head - to - Head
Ghana and Cameroon have since 1978 met seven times in all competetions.
The two sides have since recorded three wins each in their last seven encounters while settling on a draw in the year 2000 in an African cup of nations fixture.
The last time the two sides met was in 2008 when Cameroon defeated Ghana by a goal to nil at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Asamoah Djan returns
Black stars captain, Asamoah Djan is expected to make a return to starting eleven after picking up an injury in Ghana’s last round of group matches against the Pharos of Egypt.
