West Akim MCE Cuts Sod for Projects across Communities

The West Akim Municipal Assembly, led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Akabila Paulina, has successfully completed the second phase of sod-cutting ceremonies across several communities within the municipality, marking another significant step in its development agenda.

The exercise covered Bunso, including the much-anticipated Bunso Bridge Project, as well as Betom, Adam Fentwuma, Akrofikrom, Amenta Dadei, Obotwene, Ohenedaho, Solomon, Abaase, and Soldier Krom.

The series of sod-cutting ceremonies signals the commencement of multiple infrastructure projects aimed at improving the living conditions of residents. Key among these is the Bunso Bridge project, expected to enhance connectivity and ease transportation challenges in the area.

In addition, the Assembly is undertaking the provision of mechanised boreholes in several communities to improve access to safe and reliable water.
