The MCE highlighted the importance of initiatives like the National Apprenticeship Program, which equips young people with valuable skills to secure jobs or start their own businesses. By working closely with stakeholders, the MCE aims to ensure that these programs are effectively implemented and benefit the youth in the municipality.

Speaking with Ghanadistrict.com, the MCE said, providing opportunities for youth to acquire skills and knowledge that can lead to employment or entrepreneurship and facilitating access to job opportunities through government programs and private sector partnerships can also support the young people to reach their full potential and contribute to the development of the municipality.

He said, providing hands-on training and skills development for young people as well as offering financial support to students can also enable them pursue their education and career goals.

He stated that his aim is to empower young people to become productive members of society and contribute to the development of the municipality and the Assembly is dedicated in working with stakeholders to ensure that government programs are effectively implemented and benefit the youth in the municipality.
