NKWANTA N: Assembly committed to welfare of PWDs - DCE

The Nkwanta North District Assembly remain committed to the welfare of persons with disability in the district hence the assembly’s continues loyalty in the disbursement of funds towards their wellbeing.

So far the 2% common fund for Persons with Disability has been regular and has made a tremendous impact on the livelihood of persons with disability in the district.

29 income generating activity groups have so far been supported; students and apprentices were also supported.

Medical bills were paid to some people and assistive devices were procured to some of the members.
