According to the District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Amoh Johnson Anom, arrangements have been finalized to ensure prompt payment of the allowances.

He assured that disbursement will commence as soon as the District Finance Officer returns from leave next week.

“We have gone through all the required procedures, and everything is in place. Once the Finance Officer is back from his mandatory leave, the allowances will be paid without delay,” Mr. Anom confirmed.

He underscored the role of assembly members in Ghana’s decentralization system and thus expressed optimism that the allowances will help encourage them to monitor key projects in their respective jurisdiction.

The DCE expresses his appreciation to members for their patience and continued dedication to service.

He commended the President for the initiative and urged assembly members to work harder to reciprocate the gesture.
