The items, comprising 228 hexagonal tables and 2,271 chairs, were handed over to the Ghana Education Service (GES) Directorate for onward distribution to basic and senior high schools, from Kindergarten to Krachi Senior High School.

Speaking to the media after the presentation, Mr Addo said the intervention aimed to improve teaching and learning conditions in the Municipality and reaffirmed the commitment of the NDC government to enhance educational infrastructure nationwide.

He noted that the government was addressing long-standing challenges in the education sector, including the renovation of dilapidated school structures.

“We want every child in the Municipality to have access to education and study in a safe and conducive environment.

This furniture delivery is only the beginning,” he said.  Teachers in the Municipality expressed appreciation for the support, describing it as timely and impactful, particularly given the poor condition of existing classroom furniture.

They commended both the MCE and the MP for prioritising education and expressed hope that the improved learning environment would enhance academic performance.  The initiative represents one of the largest investments in educational logistics in Krachi West Municipality in recent years.
