Adentan MCE Engages Community Leaders in Key Stakeholder Meeting

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Adentan, Ella Esinam Christine Nongo, convened a significant meeting with leaders of landlords and residents associations at the Assembly’s Conference Room.

Key Discussions

During the meeting, the MCE highlighted the municipality’s focus on several critical local issues, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the Assembly and community leaders.

The following topics were addressed:

Road infrastructure upgrades and maintenance

Enforcement against unauthorized structures

Expansion of street lighting for enhanced safety

Streamlining building permit processes

Encouraging timely property rate compliance

Strengthening overall security measures

Hon. Nongo stressed that property rates are a vital revenue stream for funding development projects and urged residents to fulfill their civic obligations.

MP’s Contribution

Hon. Mohammed Adamu Ramadan, the Member of Parliament for Adentan Constituency, reaffirmed his support for the Assembly’s agenda.

He donated an initial batch of street lights to the participating associations and pledged to provide additional units in the coming days. These lights will be strategically installed to deter crime and enhance nighttime safety throughout the municipality.

Association leaders expressed their appreciation for the transparent and interactive format of the meeting, committing to support the Assembly’s programs.

They requested that such stakeholder dialogues become a regular feature to foster cooperation and inclusive development in Adentan.
