Kwahu West Municipal Assembly directs for compulsory use of face masks

The Kwahu West Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region has directed that henceforth, all residents must wear face masks to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus to the municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Yaw Owusu Addo, stated that “The General Public is hereby respectfully informed that each and everyone in the Kwahu West Municipality is required to wear a face mask as part of the National Effort to contain the spread of the COVID-19 Pandemic”

He added that, Commercial Drivers, Passengers, Tricycle Operators, Market Women and Men, Petty Traders, General Merchants, Restaurants Operators, Food Vendors, Barbers, Butchers, Hairdressers, Hawkers and indeed all citizens are advised to note this order for strict compliance.
