She emphasized that revenue mobilization is key to the Assembly's operations and that tax payments will enable the government to undertake more infrastructural development projects.

The MCE made this appeal during a town hall meeting at Achiase as part of her six-day community engagement tour.

The tour aimed to thank and introduce herself to the chiefs, assembly members, and community members for their massive support following her nomination by the President.

During the tour, the MCE visited various communities, including Achiase, Akronwi, Eassase, Wabiri, Peminase, Adumasa, New Bomfa, Duampompo, Kubease, Yaw Nkrumah, New Koforidua, Boamadumase, Atia, Sekyere, Woraponso, Dumakwai, Yeboakrom, and Amangonase.

The MCE sought the blessings, prayers, advice, and cooperation of the chiefs to the municipality's development agenda.

The tour also provided an opportunity for the MCE to engage with chiefs and residents on their challenges.

The communities cited similar issues, including poor road networks, lack of electricity, inadequate streetlights, limited access to portable drinking water, and insufficient health and educational facilities.

The MCE was accompanied by the Presiding Member, Municipal Coordinating Director, Dr. Stephen Lurimuah, heads of departments, assembly members, and party executives.

The residents commended the MCE for the visit and pleaded with her to address their challenges. In response, the MCE pledged to address the issues confronting the communities.
